Model United Nations 2008
McGlashan Boys Solving the Worlds Problems Three teams of McGlashan boys, representing the nations of Spain, Uzbekistan and South Africa, participated in a two day Model United Nations event held in Dunedin over the weekend 17th & 18th May. Questions debated included one on Cultural rights and Polygamy, one on Curbing Carbon Emissions and another on the Elimination of Child Trafficking. Perhaps we have a future UN Secretary General in the making? |
