International Baccalaureate

As an IB World School, McGlashan offers the prestigious two year IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13, the final two years at the college. The IB Diploma has become the gold standard university entrance qualification globally and the hundreds of McGlashan graduates have benefitted hugely from this thorough preparation for tertiary study, both locally and internationally.  We  offer a wide range of subjects across the programme. For example, at Year 12 this year the College is offering English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Psychology, History, Art, German, Spanish and English as a second language.

Chris Knopp is the school's IB Coordinator and will happily speak to prospective and current IB parents and students. He can be contacted for any information relating to the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
