Curling
Bailey Dowling won a Silver medal at the U21 Curling tournament held in Naseby recently. This was a very close contest and they were pipped for gold by the last stone on the last end.
Taekwon-Do
Lauchlan Ellis has been selected to represent New Zealand at the International Taekwon-Do World Championships in Ireland (October) He has had some significant achievements recently at Oceania Champs. First, Junior Middle 3rd Dan at 2017 ITFNZ Nationals.
Rugby league
Leroy Ferguson presented New Zeland in the U16 Rugby League team that defeated the U17 New Zealand Maori, he was voted MVP of the match. Leroy has been selected in the South Island U17 League team.
Rowing
New Zealand Junior rowing representative, Bradley Leydon, has been training in Cambridge, United Kingdom and Plovdiv Bulgaria. He will compete at the 2017 Junior World Rowing Championships which run from the 2-6 August in Trakai, Lithuania.
Cross Country
Our Junior Cross country team of Josh Hou, Will Turner, Ben Lund and Nathan Harrison placed 7th at the New Zealand national event in Christchurch recently
Rugby
