Our student support teams are here to champion your wellbeing, safety, and academic success.

We provide a range of services designed especially for teens - offering confidential, approachable support and practical resources. Whether you're facing personal challenges or school-related issues, we're here to help you every step of the way.

Have you got something on your mind? Do you need to speak in confidence with someone who will listen?

John McGlashan College has many people on its staff who will listen to your personal problems, worries and concerns; such as your Form Teacher, your Dean or any teacher you feel comfortable talking to.  Don't forget about the Senior Leadership Team; Mr Hunter, Mr Veitch, Mr Porter, Mr Casey and Mrs Anderson. All of these people care about the wellbeing of McGlashan students and would be sympathetic to your personal concerns.

The Chaplain, Mr Mike Brown is a great listener, as is the School Counsellor, Mr Daryl Shields.  Mr James Howey is our Clinical Counsellor and is available by appointment to all students outside of school hours, which may suit some students.
