Our Year 7 and 8 boys enjoyed their first tri-interschool last week up in Canterbury.
Last Tuesday we took an amazing group of year 7 and 8 students up to Timaru and Winchester to play Waihi School and St George's School from Whanganui in an interschool.
The boys played Hockey, Football and Rugby, with the closest rugby game in many years with a 38-36 victory to Waihi, it was right down to the wire in an incredibly exciting game!
A special thanks to our amazing parent coaches, we could not do this without your support! We also had a number senior student coaches who stepped up to lead teams, our Junior boys loved this experience.
Waihi were wonderful hosts who put on a great lunch for the boys afterwards!
