My name is Leandra Hassmann, and I am excited to join John McGlashan College as the new German Language Assistant for Terms 1 and 2.
I studied English, Educational Psychology, and Geography for secondary school teaching in Munich, Germany, and Cork, Ireland. As a native speaker, I’m thrilled to support students in the German classroom and share my language and culture.
Outside of school, you can often find me surfing, climbing, or exploring Aotearoa’s stunning nature. I’m really looking forward to joining the John McGlashan College community and am incredibly grateful for this wonderful opportunity.
