To end the term we are hosting Timaru Boys' High School on Tuesday 5th July.
Congratulations to Keegan Ferguson, Ben Joseph, Jack Timu, and Josh Whaanga who have all been selected for the New Zealand Maori U18 Development camp which will be held in Rotorua.
Lachlan Russell, and Ewan Beadell recently had top 8 placings and swam personal bests at the South Island Secondary School Swimming champs.
On Wednesdays we have four teams competing in the local Secondary Schools Football competition. Our Junior and Seniors 2nds teams both remain unbeaten and are putting some big scores on the board. The Junior 1sts are beginning to play well and only just lost to Otago Boys 10s 3-4 recently after a much bigger loss in the first round. The 1st XI are competing well with the majority of the teams in their league.
On Monday (Year 7 & 8) and Friday nights we have many boys playing Basketball in a range of gymnasiums across Dunedin. In the Premier Schools grade our Senior JMC Blue have won 5 out of 7 games so far as they look to build towards the Invercargill Tournament during Winter Sports Week. In Junior Premier grade the JMC Kahurangi team have won 4 out of their 7 games as the prepare for Tournament week in Nelson.
Good luck to our Under 15 Hockey team who are heading to Hamilton in the first week of the holidays to compete in the Tanner Cup.
