Job, Purim and Nate tell us about the International Sports Day that our students attended this week.
On Thursday the John McGlashan international students went to a Sports Day organised by the Otago Secondary Schools Sports Association at the Metro Indoor Sports Centre on Crawford Street.
About 135 students from 8 high schools across Dunedin attended. We were divided into four groups and then broken down into smaller groups to play Dodgeball, Football and jumping and chasing on the inflatables.
It was good to be mixed into teams with students from other schools so that we could meet people from our home countries, see old friends and meet new ones.
It was great fun. We really enjoyed it and would like to thank the OSSSA for planning it. We hope that they put on another one soon.
