Looking for a little extra support with your academic progress...peer tutoring might be the solution for you.

Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring

The Peer Tutoring programme is open to all students of John McGlashan College at any level.

The programme utilises the support of our senior students (as tutors) to guide and assist those who would like it.

The programme runs on a Monday afternoon from 3:25 - 4:15 pm. As a tutee, the expectation is to attend each week or advise your tutor of any reason you will not be attending.

We have many senior students who are enthusiastic about giving their time and skills in support of other students.

I want to provide some service to the school and be helpful. I've done tutoring before and quite enjoy it, and am happy to know that I can help make a positive impact .

If you cannot attend tutoring on a Monday but would still like to be involved, please complete the form and note this down. We can often make separate arrangements for students who can not attend on Mondays.

The expectation is that the tutee provides work to be completed or assisted with, which can be organised with your classroom teacher.
