On Monday around 50 student librarians celebrated the end of the year with a festive lunchtime treat.
Each year we hold a lunchtime Christmas party to thank our hard working student librarians for being part of the team.
Whether they regularly help with shelving, occasionally issue books when their class visits the library, assist with training new student librarians, or attend our weekly student librarian meetings and activities, all of their help is very much appreciated and keeps the Library running smoothly.
This year we once again celebrated and said 'thank you' with strawberries, ice cream and all the toppings. Christmas hats were optional, but proved to be a very popular choice! Thank you to all our student librarians this year. Have a lovely summer and we look forward to seeing you back in the Library in 2026.
