International Student Oamaru Trip

Friday 17th April 2015

On Friday 17th April, 10 international students went to Oamaru for the night with Mr Mountain and Mrs Noble.

The boys enjoyed cheese at Evensdale Cheese Factory and had a tour. When we arrived in Oamaru, we had a BBQ before going to watch the Penguin Show. We saw about 30 Little blue's come in, as well as a NZ Fur seal.

The next morning we had breakfast and then went to the Victorian Historic Precinct where the boys interacted with local artists, visit shops, had an ice cream and enjoyed the flying fox at the play park.

On the way back to Dunedin, we stopped for fish and chips in Hampden and took photos at the Moeraki Boulders. It was a good quick trip away for the night to get the boys out of town, many of which hadn't visited Oamaru before, or seen a penguin!
