Sunday 9th August 2015

Last week Mr Neil Garry, Dr Jennifer Macleod and Rev. Barry Kelk spent a few days together at the Presbyterian Church Schools’ Conference at Rangi Ruru College in Christchurch

Dr  Macleod had also been at the RE teachers/Chaplains conference earlier. She was presenting a workshop and followed up at our conference and the Anglican Principal’s conference also. On all occasions she was speaking about her work creating N.C.E.A. approved curriculum for the Church Schools. The Presbyterian Church is funding this work.

It was good to be together with folks of like minds from schools like ours. Even more it was great to spend time with wonderful collegues  from our own College and dream about how we could ensure our ‘special character’ honours our founders yet remain helpful and relevant to our lads today, holding true to our Christian roots.  Rev.
