More success for John McGlashan College trapshooting boys at the Balfour Inter-Collegiate Trapshooting competition with five of our boys taking home medals or trophies and two making it into the shoot-offs.
The team of Shane, Cameron, Harry, George and Eli took away the team event, making that three wins and two seconds out of the five events attended. Balfour do not have a high overall for each event, just a first, second and third for seniors and juniors, much to Archie’s disgust as he was looking to take on his captain in a shoot-off for Single Rise, being the only two competitors to shoot 20/20. He had to settle for outright first Junior with Shane outright first Senior. Shane also finished the day with the Senior High Gun after a shoot-off. Cameron and Harry each had a placing in single barrel and points score respectively. Eli, George and Alex completed their day making it into shoot-offs as well.
