Tēnā koutou,
On Tuesday evening this week our boys delivered an outstanding performance at Polyfest. It's remarkable to see how much our boys and the Columba girls have elevated their performance over the past few years. Be sure to read the full Polyfest article by Lizzie Clark later in this edition of the Press.
This week, our Year 10 boys had their second opportunity to tackle their NCEA Level 1 corequisites, while all seniors are gearing up for exam week, scheduled from Monday to Thursday. The IB Year 2 students began their exams today, continuing through to next Friday.
Currently, it appears that the PPTA is planning to proceed with rolling strikes during the final week of this term. If this occurs, groups will not be able to attend school in the following year levels:
Monday 15 September: Year 12 & 13
Tuesday 16 September: Year 11
Wednesday 17 September: Year 10
Thursday 18 September: Year 9
We are eagerly anticipating the School Fete on Saturday, 13 September. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who have contributed to making this event possible. It serves as our primary fundraiser for the year, and we look forward to seeing many of you there.
Be sure to check out our Fete Silent Auction page, which is now live, featuring some fantastic packages available for bidding.
Kā mihi,
John Veitch
Acting Principal
