The biggest community event of the school calendar is finally happening this Saturday - the John McGlashan College Fete! It's going to be an awesome event with something for everyone. There is an amazing range of stalls: come along and snap up a bargain at our second-hand stall, try your luck on the Chocolate Wheel, choose from our delicious food offerings, or have some fun and games at the school stalls.
Remember to bring some cash and some bags for all your purchases! There will be an eftpos machine at the school office if you need it but it's great if you can bring along money.
Pilkington Street between Balmacewen Road to Passmore Crescent will be closed to traffic on Saturday 7.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be some parking available on the Boarding School grounds - the entrance will be off Passmore Crescent.
Bids on the Silent Auction - the Silent Auction closes at 1 p.m. at the School Gala on 09 September www.32auctions.com/jmc2023/. Successful bids can be picked up upon payment at the School Chapel after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The Parents & Friends Association and a team of volunteers have been hard at work getting everything ready for tomorrow - the raffles are set to go; the tombola is set out; we are ready for action!
