On Wednesday 30th July 7pm we are hosting Tūturu with a online workshop for our coaches and managers, focused on how sport can be a powerful platform for supporting student wellbeing.

Tūturu Workshop for Coaches – Join Us Online

At McGlashan, we see sport as more than just competition - it’s a powerful way to support the wellbeing and development of our young men.

Next Wednesday 30th July we are hosting a Tūturu workshop exploring how coaches can have a lasting impact both on and off the field.

What the Workshop Covered:

  • How alcohol is marketed to youth and the influence it has

  • The unique role coaches play in shaping wellbeing, confidence, and long-term engagement

  • Building positive, inclusive sporting environments

  • Tips for confident conversations around tricky topics like alcohol and pressure

Why It Matters:

Coaches are often some of the most influential adults in a young person’s life. The time they spend with our boys goes far beyond the scoreboard - it helps shape values, friendships, and resilience.

You’re Invited - Online Info Evening for Coaches & Managers
