As an IBDP student, and a student of John McGlashan College, we are constantly aware of the choices that we make. Making sound decisions on ethics, our own principles, how we can contribute, serve and lead others.
Emilio is an excellent example of what it means to be a student of John McGlashan College. The Dunedin City Council has recognised his skills and attributes and have invited him to join the Dunedin Youth Council.

Each application was assessed through an intensive process. First, the current Dunedin Youth Council considered the applications and participated in a quorum vote for each person who applied.Each application was carefully considered and assessed before the quorum vote. The applicants were further assessed by the Dunedin City Council, interviews were then completed, and finalapproval was granted.
Congratulations Emilio. We are proud of you and look forward to seeing your contributions and leadership at this local government level.
