35 boys took on the cooler temperatures of Naseby recently to develop and showcase their mountain bike skills and safe behaviours in the outdoors.
Heading to Naseby the forecast was for snow and rain. The boys took this on and prepared as well as they could ensuring they had adequate gear and were as cosy as they could be in their tents. The group was divided into three ability riding groups in which to explore the range of trails in Naseby forest. This provided a great opportunity for everyone to test and develop their skills at an appropriate pace. The camp culminated in a time trial in which boys pushed themselves as hard as they could for their NCEA practical grade.
