The CLEAR Voice Community of Practice

Monday 22nd June 2026

Our children are navigating a complex social world as they grow up. This includes learning how to form healthy, respectful relationships, make sense of sex and consent, and respond to powerful influences through social media and other online content.

These challenges are not always easy to navigate, and we must work together, within and without our community. The CLEAR Voice initiative was established in direct response to these realities.

CLEAR Voice stands for Change, Learn, Educate, Advocate, Respect, and is the name for a community of practice that we formed with St Hilda’s Collegiate, King’s High School, and Otago Boys’ High School in 2024. The COP is chaired by Professor Melanie Beres at the University of Otago. It is a vehicle by which we can come together to address issues facing our young people and initiate projects that bring about meaningful change and uplift our communities.

You can read more about CLEAR Voice in the inaugural edition of the COP newsletter. Reach out if you have any questions.
