JMC Students Will Bary, Cody Byck and Benjamin Koh also had an outstanding performance in the NZMIHL U18 National Representative Tournament U18 Junior Thunder, taking the bronze

Congratulations to Reuben MacAlister (Year 9, MIP for the season), Dino Walton (Year 8 ), Alex Riach (Year 9) and George Bary (Year 10) for winning the Silver Medal with the U15 Dunedin Thunder at the National Bantam U15 Ice Hockey Tournament. After beating Auckland White in the semi-final, the team demonstrated again what it is like giving 100% in the final. The team played their hearts out. It was the most intensive game, with 1-1 full-time and a loss in extra time. Your commitment and effort make us incredibly proud. Well done!

Congratulations to the five McGlashan students Serge Meeuws, Henry Scott, Henry Cleaver, Max Hore and Liam Barron - kicking off the Highlanders Schools Training Camp taking place at John McGlashan College this week.

Baxter has been invited to the NZ U18 Hockey Super Training Camp in Hamilton at the start of October. His big brother Thomas has also been invited to the NZ U21 Hockey Super Camp in Hamilton at the same time.
