Leading the way in the individual placings is co-captain Shane Sanders with 18 wins or placings. He has also achieved three high gun titles from three of the seven competitions. Shane’s consistently high performance throughout the year saw him winning the aggregate title for the skeet discipline, one of two aggregates awarded over all competitions in Otago and Southland throughout the year.

In the other aggregate title for the year, the “down the line” aggregate, Shane finished runner-up. In such a close result, he entered the very last match for the year tied for the title. Harry Russell finished his season in the top five for both aggregate titles as a result of some great performances during the year.  Cameron, George and Eli all added to the medal haul with great personal achievements during the season, along with our new squad members, Alex Crosado, Charles Keenan, Charlie Dougherty and Archie Calder all reaching shoot-offs as they gain experience in the sport. The team now turn their attention to the South Island and National Championships to be held over three days at the end of term.
