North Zone Athletics

11 of our boys attended the recent North Zone Athletics event at the Caledonian. They competed in high jump, long jump, sprints, shot put, discus, 800m and relays. Dominic Morrison finished 1st in both the long jump and 100m event (13+). Dominic also placed 2nd in the 800m (yr 7&8 combined). Cam Forde came 1st in the Shot Put (Under 13) and Max Wolf placed 3rd in the Shot Put (13+). Overall, eight of our students finished in top six places and as a result have qualified to compete in the Otago Championships that will take place on Tuesday 17th November. Good luck to these 8 boys.
