As everyone knows, we don't need a reason for a party in the Library but the publication of the centenary cookbook 'Food for Thought' was definitely worth celebrating. Staff and Senior Librarians recently got together to provide sundaes for over 350 boys who queued patiently over the lunch break. Using a recipe from the cookbook, Sandy Guy had previously made 40 litres of 'Lemon and Ginger Ice Cream' in the school kitchen with the expert help of Chef Manager Geoff and Chef Rebecca. We were also very grateful to the generous support of Moyles Freshchoice Supermarket in Green Island who donated the ingredients.

By the time Dr Preston and Mr Garry dished the ice cream in flamboyant style, there wasn't much room left to add the jelly, chocolate mousse and strawberry instant pudding ... but we managed.  Librarians James Burchell, Alex Leckie-Zaharic, Hyunsoek Lee, Samuel Leaper, and Zack Stalker added the myriad of toppings with a flourish. Thanks guys, you did a great job.

Thank you to everyone who helped, and everyone who took part in making it such a fun event.
