Exciting Opportunities for Our German Students
Language immersion is one of the most powerful ways to learn a language—not only does it help students develop advanced language skills, but it also enhances cognitive abilities and fosters a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity.
That’s why we’re thrilled that two of our senior German students have been awarded prestigious scholarships for immersive language experiences!
George Bary has received the Goethe-Institut scholarship to attend the German Immersion Days in Wellington (9-11 May 2025), where he will dive into the vibrant world of the German language and culture.
Dan Grieve was selected for the PASCH-Jugendkurs scholarship and will spend three weeks in the stunning seaside town of St. Peter-Ording in Northern Germany—a fantastic opportunity to experience German life firsthand.

All our senior German students applied for various Goethe-Institut scholarships and exchange programs, and we’re hopeful that even more students will have the chance to participate in immersive experiences in the future.
