The year 7 and 8 Interschool Golf Tournament was played on Wednesday the 26th November at Belleknowes golf course.
Two teams from John Mcglashan College competed in the tournament against 7 other teams. The weather was spectacular for a great round of golf. The winning John Mcglashan team consisted of Callum White, Caleb LeCong, Reuben Cook and Alex Wilson, who shot 39 over the 9 holes; winning by 19 shots. The JMC 2nd team of Cory Beaumont, Tom Proctor,Caleb Oakley and Dan Kunac played a fantastic game and came in third place.
The highlight of the day was when Callum White managed to hit the club house with his drive and bounce it onto the fringe for an easy birdie finishing for Alex and Reuben. Alex managed to chip in for an eagle from Callum's drive on the 8th hole. The teams payed really well together, showing great sportsmanship and golf etiquette all round. A great representation for John McGlashan College.
