Principal's Values Recognitions: 18 February

Monday 16th February 2026

Congratulations to Andrew, Hugh, Toby, Will and Cooper for their Values Awards presented at assembly this week.

Hugh M (Year 7): Manaakitanga

Hugh has lived Manaakitanga in his Science lessons. He noticed classmates who were finding an experiment tricky and helped them out, so that everyone enjoyed success. Hugh uplifts others within our school community.

Andrew S (Year 8): Excellence

Andrew consistently strives for his personal best in Year 8 Drama through a combination of discipline and curiosity. He is a hardworking student who takes initiative in his learning, never settling for the minimum. Andrew’s habit of going above and beyond ensures he maximises every moment of class time, truly reflecting the pursuit of his full potential.

Toby I and Will G (Year 9): Manaakitanga

Toby and Will were identified by parents as exceptional helpers in the kitchen on Year 9 Camp. They volunteered when they were not rostered on, always cheerful and hardworking, working hard to finish the whole job to an excellent standard. They demonstrated the values behind Manaakitanga. This was greatly appreciated by our parents, who were helping out at camp, and an example for all.

Cooper R (Year 11): Manaakitanga

Cooper lives our value of Manaakitanga in his coaching work with the junior water polo teams. He brings passion, energy, and expertise to this space and, by doing so, uplifts and inspires the younger players to challenge themselves and be their best.
