Merry Christmas. I had the privilege recently of joining in with a Year 10 Camp. We headed down the Hollyford to Martin's Bay. Our trip was blessed with one sunny day to balance out our three days of rain. One of my favourite memories from the trip will be seeing the boys joyfully arrive at our destination for the day (Martin's Bay Hut) in the sun with grins of relief and joy at the beauty of the location.
Christmas can easily become a bit like this for me - the chaos of December and the end of year can make getting there feel like a chore. However, it is a time when we remember and are grateful for the amazing gift of Jesus. A time to be thankful and share in joy together. My prayer for you all is that this Christmas and summer you are able to find time for this. That however rainy your journey may have been this year, however busy December hsa been, that you will be able to find a spot of sunshine this Christmas. To spend with friends and whanau and enjoy the amazing creation we are blessed with in New Zealand.
For those who pray I invite you to join with me in praying for our Board's and Senior Leadership Team. As they begin the process of recruitment and juggling the load in the meantime.
