We have had a busy start to the Winter season

Congratulations to Harrison Stout who was awarded top U15 male at the recent Otago/Southland Surf life-saving awards.

Old boy Darcy Nevill who was our last year's head boarder and Deputy head boy has been competing for NZ at the junior world curling champs in Sweden. Darcy was awarded the world junior curling championships sportsmanship award out of all the competitors.

Our National Secondary Schools Curling Championship team from 2021 is attending the Otago Sports awards as a nominee in the emerging team category.

Well done to Tom Fowler, and Jonty Light who were recently awarded their 1st XV Rugby caps.

Current 1st XV captain Jack Timu meet Doug Brown at a recent game in Oamaru. Doug was supporting the McGlashan 1st XV - the team he captained 50 years ago!

Good luck to Ethan Barnett who has been selected in the Otago U13 Boys team to travel to Christchurch to compete in the South Island Teams tournament.

Our Hockey 1st XI team is unbeaten in the local competition and had a great 10- 1 victory over Kings High School this week, whilst our 2nd XI had a 2 all draw with Otago Boys’ High School 1st XI. Our Junior teams are all competing well, especially with so many boys unable to play due to recent sickness.

To highlight the strength of our Hockey programme 11 current students Liam Barron, Nick Casey, Jack Cotton, Nick Friedlander, Sam Gradwell, William Hancox, Jack Hazlett, Baxter and Thomas Meder, Sam Schell, Harry Stevens, plus old boy Liam Casey have all been selected in the Otago U18 team to attend Nationals in Palmerston North in the next set of holidays.
