An outstanding set of performances by our students has seen them move through to the next round.
Our JMC bands had a great performance on Saturday 22nd and have been chosen to go to the Rockquest regional finals which are happening on 25th June at Mayfair theatre. Y9 students Patrick, Maita, Dan, and Eddie entered the competition for the first time as ‘Disciples of Dunedin’. Our senior boys Theo, James, Gary, Will, Nic, Harrison, Enzo, and Sam returned to the stage as two separate groups this year, 'Neil's Beach' & 'Vivid'. A great achievement for their first time at Rockquest and performed their original song - lyrics by Dan and music by Lochie. McGlashan has three other bands competing in the top 12 playoffs at the Otago regional finals.
