The much anticipated and fiercely fought junior long ball competition was held on Wednesday afternoon. After practising their longball skills and teamwork over the last few weeks in physical education lessons all of the junior classes were ready to stake their claim for the coveted titles.
Another beautiful Dunedin day allowed for optimal long ball conditions and the matches were all played competitively and with a high level of sportsmanship. The boys are to be commended for the manner in which they played and the positive atmosphere that surrounded the competition. Well done to the victorious form classes, the minor placed classes and a huge thank you to the staff for running the event so smoothly. All the best for a well earned summer break.
