For the first time in 16 years, McGlashan took home the title at the annual King’s Invitational Junior Boys’ Touch Tournament. Even more impressive, the boys achieved this result after having just one practice together before the event.
They showed great teamwork and resilience throughout the day, battling through heavy rain and cold conditions to finish on top against strong opposition. Their communication and support play improved with every game, and their determination stood out right to the end.
This result reflects the positive attitude and commitment of the players and the steady leadership from coaches Cooper and Oscar, supported by team manager Mrs Wilson.
A fantastic effort from a keen group of young players - an outstanding result in true McGlashan spirit.
