What an incredible experience on the Year 10 Great Walk. We were fortunate to enjoy fantastic weather over the three days, which made for an enjoyable and memorable trip.
The boys impressed us with their fitness and teamwork, completing each section of the tramp with no stragglers and finishing within minutes of one another - a great effort by all involved.
A big thank you to the parents who joined us, with special appreciation to Hamish for sharing his extensive outdoor expertise. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience of staying in large huts, and it was wonderful to hear positive feedback from other trampers about their behaviour and enthusiasm.
Although kayaking in Milford Sound had to be cancelled due to windy conditions, we made the most of the opportunity with a fascinating visit to the Te Anau Glowworm Caves and an adventurous caving trip.
