It was wonderful to welcome our whānau to the first whānau hui for 2025.
Tēnā koutou katoa.
On Tuesday we had our first whānau hui for the year.
For those who may not have been before and are not sure what it involves, it is a welcoming space for all levels of knowledge. You do not need to speak any reo. You do not need to know tikanga. It is a time for whānau Māori to discuss what they think their children need from the school in order to be best supported and thrive.
Whānau are usually emailed about upcoming dates. The next hui will be in Term 2. If you did not receive an email to our first event and would like to attend please contact Lizzie.Clark@mcglashan.school.nz.
We look forward to seeing all our whānau again next term.
