"The five of us talk regularly about how proud we are of the College and therefore how easy it is to talk positively about what we offer."

Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March saw the team of Mr Garry, Mr Campbell, Rev Kelk, Dr Preston and Ms Mawdsley in Wanaka at the annual A & P Show. We spent the two days talking with a wide-range of visitors - predominantly current and prospective parents and students - and also connected with a large number of Old Collegians. It is always fantastic to engage with people in their local community.

On Friday night, after the show had finished, we hosted a group of alumni and friends of the College and shared many stories about the days gone by at John McGlashan College. It becomes quite apparent at events like these how strong the bonds of the College are. It is also true that it is all about connection. Now more than ever perhaps.

The five of us talk regularly about how proud we are of the College and therefore how easy it is to talk positively about what we offer. We have an excellent ‘product’. We love our location at the show, further away from other schools, right near the entrance and walkway and with space for our corn-hole boards (thanks Mr White). It is quintessentially McGlashan.

Thanks, as always, to all of the locals for their support and a huge thank you to the staff for the time they take away from their families in order for us to keep doing what we do here at McGlashan.
