On Monday night the John McGlashan Rowing team were met at the airport by a welcoming party to celebrate their successes.
This years trip to Mardi Cup was the most successful in history for John McGlashan College. The Rowing team gained 5 medals which included 1 gold, 2 silvers and 2 bronze medals. In previous years a bronze medal had been the highest achievement by John McGlashan.
A number of the boarding school students and families met the rowing team and performed a heart felt welcome which included bag pipes and a haka to show how proud we are of the boys.
