The NCEA practice exams ran very smoothly during the first week of term. Students have received feedback from these assessments and should now be revising for the external examinations.

The 'Get Help in Gilray' tutorial programme will be running from Monday the 7th. Students have received an email regarding these tutorials and should use the link provided to book spaces in the tutorials relevant to them.

For NCEA students, morning exams begin at 9:30am and afternoon exams begin at 2.00pm. Students need to arrive 20 minutes before their exam wearing dress uniform.

Students should bring:

  • Their admission slip
  • Exam materials, such as pens, pencils and a calculator, in a clear plastic bag.

An 'emergency pack' containing a mobile phone (turned off) and any medication may be kept in a separate sealed clear plastic bag and placed under the student's seat for the duration of the exam. Students are reminded that phones are not otherwise permitted in the examination room.

Students who arrive more than 30 minutes late will not be granted entry to the exam.

If students lose their admission slip, they will need to reprint it from their Learner Login. The printed slip will then need to be signed by Mr Knopp. If you lose your admission slip, please ensure you complete this process well in advance of your exam.

All exam candidates have been provided with a comprehensive information sheet. Please read this carefully and retain it for further reference. Spare copies can be obtained from Mr Knopp.
