We are excited to announce the appointment of Liz Koni to the position of Deputy Principal (Culture and Relationships).
This is a massive appointment for us. Liz brings incredible experience in school leadership, including her time as Principal of Waitaki Girls’ High School, and before that, Deputy Principal at Queen’s College.
Most recently, Liz worked as Head of College at St Margaret’s College in Dunedin. Her passion lies with single-sex education. Liz is a courageous and values-based leader, and understands the importance of values for young people if they want to be successful at school and beyond. Our refreshed values and strategic direction were a draw for Liz, and she relishes the opportunity to contribute to the change journey we have initiated. She understands what is needed to drive a school forward to realise its vision for young people.
Liz will start with us after King’s Birthday weekend. We’re beyond excited for what she will bring to our kura and the experiences and journeys of our young people. We look forward to welcoming Liz into our community.
