Athletics Nationals in Hastings

The boys enjoyed themselves in perfect weather over three days of competition. The Morrison and Hou parents really looked after everyone with tasty BBQ's, and pool swims at the accommodation.

Nathan had added pressure and sat an NCEA exam in Hastings and juggled some athletic events to make everything fit. Nathan took all this in his stride and achieved a personal best in the high jump.

The relay team won their Heat by 3/1000 of a second! But just finished outside of the podium in the final achieving fourth out of 15 to be just beaten by Auckland Grammar.

Johny Baker had an injury but still travelled with the team to offer his wisdom and support.
