Enjoy George's review of The Ugly Shakespeare Company's Performance last week
The Ugly Shakespeare Company does classic Shakespeare performances as funny plays. They perform Shakespeare’s complete works in forty-five minutes. My personal favourite performance was the rugby scene timeline, and the Romeo and Juliet performance. These were very funny, and cracked me up when I saw them.
These people research Shakespeare and figure out the plot and inspiration for Shakespeare’s plays. This helps them think of how to interpret the plays when they perform. They purposely make accidents happen, and make sure the audience laughs. I enjoyed the play a lot.
These people visited John McGlashan, and put on a performance for everyone. I think everyone enjoyed it, and had a great time. One of the actors was once a student at John McGlashan.
