Last Saturday, our young musicians performed to support their local primary school.
It was a beautiful day on Saturday 1st November, and we were proud to be out and about with two McGlashan bands at the Māori Hill School Fair. It was a great opportunity for the students to give back to their local community with all proceeds raised going to the school.
It was great to see Māori Hill School alumni Charlie and George returning to strut their stuff with their band 'Amplified', who competed at this year's RockShop BandQuest. Their performance of 'Take Me Out' and 'Learn to Fly' was much enjoyed by the crowd and attracted some healthy donations towards the fair.
Our senior students also took up the gauntlet, with Cohen, Alex, Chris and Finn performing some classic NZ songs by Split Enz - awesome to see the keyboard front and centre.
Thanks to Māori Hill School for the opportunity to perform and support - the fair was well attended and had excellent support from the Māori Hill community all around.
We're looking forward to supporting MHS again at their next fair in 2027!
