Our form teachers fulfil a key role at JMC. On Thursday we are providing an opportunity for parents to meet with form teachers to establish an effective communication link.
Each student is a member of a form class that meets every day. The form teacher, who has responsibility for the pastoral care of the students in his or her class should, usually, be the first point of contact for parents who want to meet with their child’s teachers or who may have issues to discuss or concerns to raise. Day-to-day matters such as absence notes, requests and explanations are best handled by your child’s form teacher.
The evening starts in the Chapel with an address from the Chaplain, the Principal and our Head Prefect. Parents will meet with year level Deans and finally with form teachers. The evening concludes with a supper in the Chapel at approximately 8:00 pm.
