In recent years, the final assembly has traditionally been the platform for announcing Prefect positions for the following year. However, for the 2024 year 13 cohort, we are introducing a new method for announcing our leadership positions. During tomorrow's senior prize-giving, we will officially introduce our Head Prefect and Deputies.
The announcement of the remaining leadership positions will take place during the third week of 2024, following a three-day camp at Te Anau, which all Year 13 students will attend. This camp is scheduled from February 7th to February 9th, and students will stay at the Te Anau Lodge.
This camp promises to be a foundational experience for our senior students. They will be involved in numerous seminars and group activities. These activities will provide them with the best possible start to the year.
The estimated cost for the camp, which includes transportation and meals, will be $330. Further details will be provided later this year.
We eagerly anticipate the upcoming announcements and camp at Te Anau.
