Our YR13 drama class was very fortunate to have respected Theatre and Film practitioner Lara Macgregor come in and talk with us. The Yr13 Major production this year is "Bystander 9/11 - A Theatre Piece Concerning The Events of September 11, 2001" by Meron Langsner.
Lara gave us an account of her experience being on Manhattan Island during the event.
This was a very fitting way to begin the process of research on the play, as hearing her account grounded the event in reality for the students, and will no doubt set the tone for the work going forward.
