After some initial teething problems the new JMC sports uniform has met with wide spread approval.
The boys look smart and stand out from the crowd. The two key points I wish to advise students and parents about are:
1. A new hoodie style and track pants. We have a new Biz hoodie and track pant. Both items of clothing are plain navy and have the school crest on the front. The hoodie also has the school name on the front. These items can be purchased at Otago Sports Depot. Boys can opt to have their surname on the back of the hoodie. If a boy makes the first team, their code can be printed under the crest. If a boy owns the current hoodie, this can be worn if he doesn't wish to purchase a new one but that style will no longer be sold as John McGlashan College uniform.
2. There are some boys that are not sticking strictly to the uniform policy. Next term the policy will be strictly enforced. Please find the guide for sports uniform attached.
