Late in term 4, the Otago Secondary Schools Sports Association ran the annual Junior Sports week.

Our students had a lot of fun at handball and went through to the final unbeaten. In a close tussle, we went down by one goal to the Cromwell College boys.

In Palmerston, our Ki O Rahi team dominated the competition and our boys showed a lot of skill whilst quickly understanding and playing to the rules.

Our Touch team was a real mixture of experience and although we didn’t start the day so well ended up playing much better towards the end of the day, with the boys having a lot of fun and picking up some new skills.

On the final day, students headed to the Metro Indoor Centre to play Indoor Cricket. The boys had a great time in an action-packed and fast game. Well done to the students who teamed up with the Columba students to play in the mixed grade.

Well done to all our students who represented the college so well over the week.
