Students - Virtual Education Day. Staff - Professional Development Day
The Friday before Queen's birthday will be a staff only day, with students receiving their lessons via GoogleClassroom. No regular classes will run, although school will be open for instruction and supervision will be provided for boys, should it be needed.
In recent years, teacher professional development has focused on what works well for boys, resilience, well-being and care. This staff only day is aimed at developing teachers' capacity in these areas and involves a number of people and organisations, including Otago University and Otago Polytechnic.
