Change lives by making services, institutions, and knowledge accessible to all at the 2018 Youth Forum.
I am a representative from the United Nations Youth Otago region. We are a not-for-profit group that runs civic education events for high school and tertiary students with the aim of equipping people with the skills and knowledge to make a difference within their own and global communities.
In the past, students from John McGlashan have attended or been interested in UN Youth events in the Otago region. In the coming month, we will be hosting a conference on issues in the Otago Southland region called the Otago-Southland Youth Forum. This is a chance for students from across the Otago Southland region to have their say and have this communicated to key stakeholders in the region such as local MPs, the DCC, and the ORC.
