Supporting the School's Spiritual Life

Getting together on Wednesday, June 14 at 7pm

Last year I talked about how in my role as chaplain I, with others, have the privilege to encourage and nurture the special Christian character of John McGlashan. I am continually reminded that, with the senior management and pastoral team, we aspire to the formation of a school culture that seeks to build and support good foundations for life. Every boy and every staff member is reminded that they are a person of value and worth, supremely before God.

As I said, alongside this service to the whole school I have the wonderful opportunity to encourage and support boys in their faith journeys. Rylan Urquhart, our chapel prefect, is doing a wonderful job encouraging our boys and leading in chapel life.  Some parents have also asked if they can support the spiritual life of the whole school.  To that end:

On Wednesday June 14th at 7pm in the Parents and Friends room of the ELC building, we will have a low key get together for anyone interested in connecting and prayerfully encouraging the school's spiritual life.  Coffee, tea and some treats will be available.

Everyone is welcome.
