In Germany, Carnival is celebrated every February, which is a big event and is often referred to as the fifth season.
The locals participate in grand parades across the cities, where people dress up in costumes. In the southern region, traditional masks are worn during these celebrations. Our Year 9 students had a great time participating in quizzes and activities related to this cultural event. They also exhibited their creativity by designing some impressive and colourful masks.
