Principal's Foreword
I want to express my gratitude and admiration for the dedication of our staff, which has resulted in the development of strong and holistic educational programmes for our students. Their commitment to "building well-educated men of character" is at the core of everything we do.
I am pleased to inform you that the Board has recently completed the enrolment process for our Year 9 Boarder intake in 2024. The speed at which the years go by serves as a reminder of the importance of seizing every opportunity and making the most of them.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is witnessing the growth and increased confidence of our students as they build on their personal character strengths. Their commitment to giving service to the college and valuing inclusion, belonging, and community is truly commendable.
I would also like to announce that Mike Brown has been appointed as our replacement Religious Studies teacher for the latter half of the year. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mike will also deliver the weekly Chapel service. I have full confidence in his abilities and believe he will make a positive impact on our students.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to Rev Andrew Nicol for his commitment to the special character of the college. We wish him all the best in his new position at the Knox Ministry Training Centre. His contribution will be remembered and valued.
Lastly, as I write this, it appears that the snow has washed off the ski fields. Whatever you choose to do during the break, I trust that it is relaxing and purposeful.
Thank you once again for your continued support and dedication to our educational community. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students and shaping them into exceptional individuals.
Kind regards,
Neil Garry
Principal
